Par Sheet Template

Free par sheet for restaurant and café teams planning recurring supplier orders. Record each item’s count unit, vendor, delivery days, and target stock for each buying cycle. Assign an owner and a review date so the next shift knows which targets to use.

Columns in this template

• Header: location, owner, and last-reviewed date — pars need one owner and a review cadence
• Item and count unit — use the same unit for target and on-hand quantity, then convert to supplier packs when ordering
• Vendor and delivery days — the par only means something relative to when the next truck comes
• Par per delivery day — adapt the example Monday, Wednesday and Friday columns to your supplier schedule and coverage needs
• Notes — seasonality flags, 86’d items, substitutions in effect

How to use it

1. Compute pars from actual usage — the calculator does the statistical version — rather than copying last year's sheet.
2. Write pars per delivery day, not one number per item.
3. Assign one owner and a review schedule. Revisit targets when demand, delivery timing, or usable stock changes; update the header date.
4. When a par changes, change the order guide the same day; forked documents drift.
