A merchant comparing Syncio and LineNow needs to distinguish a connected partner store from an external supplier. Start with who owns the stock and fulfills the customer order, then decide whether a separate purchase commitment needs tracking.
We make LineNow. This comparison uses linked vendor documentation and an illustrative fulfillment scenario.
What Syncio documents
Syncio describes synchronization of inventory and product details across connected stores, with order forwarding to a source store for fulfillment. Its public workflow addresses the relationship between source and destination stores. That relationship needs to be understood before mapping it to a buyer's supplier purchase order. See the primary source.
A stock feed and a supplier commitment answer different questions. A feed can show that a partner has an item available; it does not by itself document the quantity and delivery date agreed for your specific customer order. Evaluate whether the connected-store workflow already covers that agreement before adding another tool.
Trace a customer order back to the stock owner
Use an illustrative source store with 20 units and two destination stores showing the product for sale. A customer orders three units at one destination. Follow the forwarded order, source inventory change, fulfillment responsibility and customer tracking update.
Then simulate a concurrent sale at the other destination and a temporary connection failure. Ask how stock resumes synchronization, how the operator detects an unresolved order and which store can issue a cancellation or refund. Keep the customer-facing order separate from any supplier invoice or purchase commitment created by your business arrangement.
If you also buy replenishment from an external supplier, test that purchase separately: 100 units ordered, 60 confirmed for Friday and 40 delayed. The store feed should not treat the delayed 40 as on-hand stock. These are two connected loops with distinct records, not competing definitions of the same stock number.
What to demonstrate in LineNow
In a LineNow dropshipping demo, have the buyer show the supplier purchase associated with the three-unit customer order and follow its confirmation on the living purchase order. Ask where customer tracking and cancellation decisions are recorded.
For the separate 100-unit replenishment purchase, review the 60-unit Friday promise and 40-unit delay. A confirmation alone should not increase on-hand stock; record the actual receipt before updating the stock owner. Demonstrate how the source store receives that change in the proposed setup.
Choose from the operating evidence
Evaluate Syncio when connected-store synchronization and order forwarding are the main requirement. Evaluate LineNow when external supplier purchasing and follow-up need their own record. Using both can be considered after defining ownership and demonstrating the handoff; a direct integration is not assumed.
Have the source-store operator and destination-store operator trace the same forwarded order through a temporary connection failure. Evaluate Syncio’s store-to-store sync and forwarding first. Add a LineNow supplier workflow only where the trial identifies purchasing work that still needs a separate owner and record.
